Poverty

Do something practical, take meals out and visit the homeless, bring in clothes for Lifeline, play a simulation game, explain why the poor don’t deserve to be poor and treated so badly. Growing a social conscience is not something that has to wait until our young people are young adults. Many of them know the injustice that goes on, helping them to understand why it happens and giving them the opportunity to do something about it can be an education for life.
